We Envision...
We
envision developing all our people – new believers as
well as established believers – into fully devoted
worshippers of Jesus Christ through joyful worship
services that are Christ-centered and God honoring,
through effective learning opportunities, special
events, and small groups.
We envision a community of believers who are
enjoying God in all of life, living under the Lordship
of Christ in expression of their love for his saving
grace, and delighting in His Glory.
We envision a worship service that is God
honoring, culturally relevant, connected to the past yet
living in the present, and biblically sound; a service
that stirs the heart and challenges the mind.
We envision believers who are
growing in their Christian faith and learning and
applying God’s word to life, who are sharing their faith
and developing “redemptive relationships” with
unbelievers and unchurched; who are serving Christ and
others with their time, treasures and talents.
We envision families being led
spiritually by husbands and dads, developing times of
family worship; -- broken families experiencing healing
as they are ministered to with love and acceptance.
We envision a community of believers ministering
to one another, praying, caring, helping, supporting,
showing hospitality, counseling, encouraging, etc. one
another.
We envision a community (place) where people of
all kinds can find and experience the love of God in
Christ and establish and build lasting relationships
with God and each other.
We envision a church community that seeks to
minister the gospel in deeds of mercy.
We envision a community of believers committed to
the Great Commission and to the growth of the
Kingdom of God. Growth of
the kingdom of God is both
internal and external. Internal growth
is the passing of the faith from parent to child and
children of believers continuing in their parent’s faith
as their own.
External growth comes from taking the gospel of
salvation into the world and boldly living and telling
the good news to the lost and praying for the Holy
Spirit to produce the fruit.
We envision a church community large enough to
recruit, train and send out members as missionaries,
church planters, church workers and short-term
missionaries to various fields at home and abroad.
By the grace of God and to Him alone be the glory
this is what we pray will be.
